For less than 10 bucks, yes, it's great. No, the gauge isn't measured at the wire, it's measured with the insulation. So it's not exact. I used this along with a Scosche 300 watt amp kit.
The speaker wires are fine if you're leaving the stock wiring anyhow, you'll just need more for four channel. The power cable is a bit thin, & I used the other one to a block than to the cap & the amp.
There are plenty of connectors & wire ties here for a two channel amp. Be sure to buy additional connectors in the event that one gets messed up.
Should you mix gold with aluminum? Not really, but when everything is apart & you want the install done. . .

This isn't a pro kit, but you can hook your 2 channel amp up with this kit & get going. The thinner power wire may be easier to feed through the firewall & tuck under the panels. So if that's something of interest to you, you may want it. I like the RCA patch cable. Very long. Too bad it's hidden as the translucent blue & silver looks mean.

Overall this is a nice kit & all of the wires are very long except for the ground, which is supposed to be short. I used that to ground my capacitor. -- Installation kit

This is a great kit! For me, the RCA was way too long, but that's what you get with a "package" deal. Other than that, a really nice package for adding a powered sub, or any amp. -- excellent kit for the money

Cost and shipping were great. The copper was a little brittle, but got the job done in no time. Just as a side note...if this is your first install, look at YouTube for install videos. -- Has "everything" you need

The Amp kit was exactly what I Expected it to be for the price. I wasn't adding a lot of equipment so this kit did the job. I installed it on Nov. 2009 and so far no problems at all to report. If your looking for basics this is it. -- Eactly A s described!
